Inhalation Caution Statement

New

Aerosol inhalation misuse presents a potentially significant health risk, especially among young people, sometimes leading to death. The British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association (BAMA) recommends that all aerosol products include a voluntary cautionary mark and statement to inform consumers about the dangers of intentional inhalation misuse. This document details the original SACKI mark developed in the late 1990s, an updated caution mark and statement that we believe uses language more easily understood by consumers, and a suggestion for where to locate it for maximum visibility.
