Over the Summer, there have been some key developments in both the UK and the EU regarding packaging waste regulations that have implications for aerosols. In the UK, new guidance has been issued on the workings of extended producer responsibility (pEPR), and in the EU the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations (PPWR) have come into force.
At 2pm on Tuesday 15th September, BAMA will hold a short Webinar to update members on the impact of these developments on aerosols.
Topics that will be covered include:
- The revised definition of aerosol as multiple-material packaging.
- RAM2027 – the revised methodology to be used in 2027 to assess the recyclability of aerosols.
- The latest guidance that is available to help comply with the PPWR.
- The latest expected timelines for delegated acts to set the requirements under the various articles of the PPWR.
